We went to Ottawa this weekend and got to go to WinterLude. It was very cold and I had to wear lots of clothes all the time, it made walking difficult. Dad and Grandpa went skating on the Rideau Canal and I slept in my stroller.

This weekend Miss Laura came for a visit and we had a grand day out. We went to the market where mom bought me plums, I like plums. We went out for lunch at a restaurant and there were lots of bees. Mom and Miss Laura even took me to the park to play on the swings. Mom and I swung together.

This past week I was in Tofino with Mom and Dad visiting my uncle Bryan. I got to walk along the beach, breathe the fresh ocean air and play with my toys a lot. You see, it rained quite a bit in Tofino, and being wee, rain gear options were sorely limited. Anyways, here are some pictures of my time in Tofino. Notice how uncle Bryan is playing with me? He told me that he isn't much into babies, being a stud and all, but no one can resist the fantastic Jack!

Well, last weekend Mom and I went up to see my great aunt and uncle. Boy did I sleep on the car ride over there! Mom and Dad were getting worried that when we have to go to Edmonton that I would be difficult during the trip. Give me some company and some toys and I'll be just fine I told them; but something tells me that they don't speak baby. Anyways, here are some pictures from that weekend.

As you can see, Mom and Dad got me a fantastic original jolly jumper. Boy can I get some air! Sometimes, I jump so high the spring collapses and I come back down with the most satisfying smile on my face! Dad likes to talk with me when I'm jumping, 'cause I give him the best smiles and laughs. Sometimes, he'll even sing to me when I'm in the jumper, and boy do I start laughing then!

So hello everyone, my name is Jack and as you can see, I am quite the dashing young man. So far during my short time on this earth I have managed to be born to my wonderful mother, mastered the art of drooling, smiling, laughing, eating my own hands (well, chewing at least) and not to mention the fine art of incoherent babbling. With each passing day I find myself growing into these huge hands and feet of mine, and becoming capable at the superhuman tasks of standing, and rolling over. You would be wise to check back often, because if I can do all this at just four months old, imagine what I'll be able to do when I'm a full year!
